Chick-Fil-A set to open on Thursday in Emeryville

The restaurant is set to open on Thursday.

Chicken lovers, good news. The restaurant confirmed to KRON4 that it will open in Emeryville.

Next to Target is a store at 1525 40th Street. It will open at 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Oakland residents will be able to get to the new location. There are a number of Chick Fil A restaurants in the Bay Area. There are 22 locations in the Bay Area in the South Bay, North Bay and on the Peninsula.

There will be 44 diners inside and 26 on a patio at the Emeryville location. It is 3,750 square feet and the patio is 970 square feet.

Jon is the owner and operator of the restaurant. Hooper has worked for the company for more than two decades and recently opened a location in Fremont.

If you are going to visit on the day it opens, beware of traffic. There was a big increase in automobile traffic in December.

In the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada, there are 2,800 locations of Chick Fil A.
