According to Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health in Egypt, the campaign is aimed at all elementary school kids, both Egyptian and non-Egyptian alike.
across addition to that, he mentioned that the campaign would run across Egypt until the conclusion of the current academic year and will involve 30,000 different public and private educational institutions.
It was made abundantly clear by him that the effort is being carried out in conjunction with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education.
According to the explanation provided by the school representative, students who have a positive screening for anemia, obesity, or stunting are referred to the various health insurance clinics for additional assessment and to obtain any necessary medicine at no cost.
According to what he indicated, those pupils would also obtain follow-up cards so that they will be able to have frequent exams at the clinics.
