PureHealth buys $490m Ardent Health Services share 2023

PureHealth, the largest integrated healthcare platform in the Middle East, has invested AED1.8 billion ($490 million) to acquire a minority stake in Nashville, Tennessee-based healthcare provider Ardent Health Services.

PureHeath is now the only UAE-based healthcare provider to acquire assets in US hospitals and clinics directly.

Ardent is the fourth-largest privately held healthcare system in the United States, with more than 1,400 aligned providers, 30 hospitals, more than 23,000 employees, and 200 sites of care in six US states.

A new phase of expansion

PureHealth’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Farhan Malik, stated, “We are honored to be the first UAE-based healthcare group to acquire assets in the United States.
